I love these curtains. I also have venetian blinds at the windows. When I purchased the venetian blinds I thought that they would shut out the light. I bought these curtains hoping for a better result. I closed them one night forgetting to shut the blind behind the curtains. I couldn't tell that the blinds behind the curtains were not closed until I opened them the next morning. I was very surprised that I hadn't closed the blinds. The curtains didn't let any light in whatsoever.
