Note-When a problem occurs, it is usually because the impeller and impeller well in the pump hasn’t been cleaned. They should be cleaned regularly because all kinds of debris collects in there, such as animal hair, saliva and animal food. The impeller should be pulled out completely. Please see the user manual. Both the impeller and the impeller well should be cleaned with a cotton bud. Also, if the customer lives in a hard water area, lime scale can cause a problem. The lime scale clogs the motor up, so it stops working. This can easily be cleaned by soaking the whole pump, in its parts, in a solution of half water and half vinegar for a few hours. You will find the pump comes up like new
